I always bow down in respect in front of those who scratchbuild their own model buildings. But this case is special. It is not only those extremely fine scratchbuilt houses, but the whole composition with the entire town scene, the walls, the greenery and the railway line down below.
Well done!
I have only one issue, and that is that ugly electric loco with the modern DB logo... But that is my own preference.
Hello everyone, after a few months of silence I insert new images of my layout under construction that show some sectors almost completely finished. In this update, I insert three different series of images.
- In this first sequence of images you can see the lower right side of the layout near the canal, where modifying the existing road, I inserted a pair of buildings. A few small details, weathring buildings, a few trees and street lighting are missing to complete the whole.
- In this second sequence of photos I almost completed the central part of the layout behind the old city, and the underlying supporting walls along the railway line.
- In this third sequence, the photos illustrate the modification of a building, and its location in the central part of the layout.
I believe it´s now time to get to the next level and share some video of the trains running on your layout . I am convinced that I am not the only one who would love to see those moving pictures, which eventually provide an even better view of the overall layout.
Anyhow … please share with us stills or moving pictures … it is a real joy to view them

Toll Andrea, einfach toll! Der in der Höhe gestaffelte Aufbau erzeugt einen sehr realistischen Eindruck und bildet gleichzeitig einen schönen Fotohintergrund!
I love it!
Gruß in die Runde aus der "halben Rotunde" ! ....... natürlich in TT !
Buongiorno Andrea, grazie per mostrarci opere tante belle. Come hai fatto i tetti, specialmete le tegole ? Sono copie in gesso giallo, o sono piatti da Langmesser ? Ciao, Steve
Greetings from Italy to all the friends of the forum.
It's been a while since the last publication, and I apologize to Steve if only now I answer your question. The roofs are yellow plaster molds made by duplicating a roof of a building of a commercial company.
Below I insert a sequence of images related to the progress of work on the layout, and finally, the results of a "weathering" on a Br141 Roco.
1st photo series: sequence for the construction of a rock wall near the railway line. 2nd photo series: realization of vegetation around the church. 3rd photo series: insertion of the access hatch on the layout and finishing of the vegetation. 4th photo series: convoy in transit, with several closed wagons with more or less marked weathering treatment. In these photos you can appreciate the different quality of light on the layout, due to the replacement of old lamps with natural light LED ceiling lights. 5th photo series: Br141
