I recently started with my layout. Scale H0, material Märklin, digital C gleis.
Epoche VI - V
Schweizer SBB Material.
I´d like to reproduce a Station from the German - Swiss area prior to Gotthard tunnel. (Something like Göschenen) with the reduced space I have.
The dimensions of the layout : 4. 70 Mts. x 1. 70 mts L- Form.
Three (3) levels. (Main station visible on the top.

Here is the Answer to most asked Questions from Starters in this Forum:

I use aboad. You can load your pics in abload and customize them. Like sizing or Sepia-effects or else. You can Cluster them. And, that's what you asked for, link them in. if you take Pictures with you mobilephone you can use the abload-App. It's comfy.

And now we like to see, how little Switzerland is growing.

Three(3) kontkt gleis is the right number for each section ?

I have intention to manage the layout using the CS2 (60215) and the PC (Win Digipet)

Good afternoon everyone.

I'm still working.
Today I have modified the switch motors .
I have read several times that it is better to make this bridge between contacts to prevent the coils from burning.
I will do this with all motors, and then test them to confirm right operation.

Applying some electrical adhesive tape to isolate





Re assembly of the metalic cover



Repeat process with all motors

Yes,I I have all c tracks prepared for the complete layout, but finally I decided to use K track on the upper level where the main station will be, and other visible parts.
I realized that you progressed with the cabling.
I´had no progress during the last three months because I´m working out of the country, but believe that I really want to come back to push it again !
I will need some help on the electric part with the decoders. S88 and S88 Link.
I will follow your job with enthusiasm !
To give you an idea the layout would be similar to another one that you can follow on this forum and that is really awesome URI Anlage.

Dear friends of the forum ..

I have been thinking for many days, the possibility of replacing all the C track type by type K.
After analyzing the possibilities, I think that because of the space and dimensions of the layout, the K-way allows me more possibilities with radios and transitions.
The hidden station at the same time could accommodate more trains ..

Is this correct ?
What do you think ?

Hello

The gemoetrie of the K-track could be better for you.
But on the technical Level, the C-track is much more up to date, your layout will work smother with c-track.

Den Rest muss ich auf Deutsch sagen...
Der Betrieb auf dem C-Gleis ist erfahrungsgemäss sicherer:
- Weniger Probleme mit Entgleisungen
- Bessere Kontaktsicherheit für Mittelschleifer bei Weichen / Kreuzungen

Für die Sektionen der Anlage, die mit einer fixen Geometrie aufgebaut werden, würde ich sicherlich das C-Gleis empfehlen.
Für die Sektionen mit Flexgleisen kannst Du ja das Übergangsgleis von C zu K benutzen und diese Abschnitte mit dem Flexgleis aus dem K-Sortiment gestalten.

Although I agree with your reasoning, I still see a problem in the permanent space of the hidden station, where K Gleis would have more options (in terms of capacity).

But why you have more capacity? I thought that K-Gleis Switch has the same radius as c-gleis Switch = R2, right?

Hello again, and thaks to reply.

According to my trackplan on Wintrack, in the same width of 85 cm, there is only space for R1 and R2 if you use C gleis.
In the same space, tou can use three (3) radius with K gleis R1, R2 and R3.
Also in this space, you can install more parallel Straight track section, because of the difference of width between K gleis and C gleis that has the ballast.

Is this correct ?

Hallo Stummi Freunde !!

After some months in which I was busy and far away from home, I restarted the layout activities with much more progress on it.
Finally the different levels were defined and all ramps adjusted and tested succesfully !!
Now its time to complete all electrical connections from turn outs and contact tracks to S88.
The final descending ramp to the yard is not connected since I´m still working on it.
Here are some pictures of the progress.

Guten Morgen
Dies ist das Design des Abschnitts, der mit der Schattenbahnhof verbunden wird.
Wie Sie sehen, durchlaufen alle Umläufe diese drei Elemente, sodass einige Züge umlaufen und die obere Bahnhof auf der rechten oder linken Seite erreichen können.
Ich würde gerne Ihre Meinung dazu erfahren.
Halten Sie ein solches System für ratsam?
