this seems to be a very interesting layout. A big main station and long tracks through the wonderfull swiss-landscape. Great!

According to the latest pictures I would say that your work is VERY "troughplaned" (does this word exist? ) and very exact and tidy!

Goodmorning everyone,
I post a few more photos and some other data of this layout under construction.

the layout is 8.10x8.10 m, for more than 500 meters of track, the lowest point is 70cm from the floor ( first shadow station) the highest is 170cm (Bemo Station)

This is the other big shadow station, there are 14 tracks 3.20 meters long

First of all a very warm welcome here in the Forum.

The layout of your "Little Switzerland" is really impressive and provides lots of opportunities for train settings and land scaping.
Do you have a fixed Date when the work hast to be handed over to your customer? Are you building at his place or do you need to move it later on?
Anyhow, I have bookmarked your thread to follow the progress of this work.
All the best to you and lot of fun with "Little Switzerland"'!

if anyone has any suggestions, especially regarding the design of the station and deposit, it is very welcome

- diameter of the external track uphill: 1418 mm
- slope 2,1 %

this is the secondary station, with the industrial junction (not done yet)

I don't know when I'll finish this project, I'm working on two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) with the owner/costumer.
fortunately I have to do also the landscape.

Uau... you live in Hamburg, i love your city, I visit hamburg every time i can, obviously also for the Miniature Wunderland (there is a comfortable fly between Bergamo and Hamburg.

These dimensions are just IMPRESSIVE The outher track (uphill) of my Elix has a diameter of round about 1100mm and a slope of 2,6% and if I stand in front
of it, it looks qutie big! But yours ... WOW!
Your detectors look very professional I`ll also build my S88 occupancy detectors on my own.

Looks great! Clean trackwork. How will you fix the tracks? Glue? or nails/screws? And what kind of industrial junction shall it be?

thanks Max,
I will fix the tracks (Peco) with the glue when i'll place the ballast, then I will remove the screws (visible in the picture).


we are deciding how to set up the industrial area, we will probably use Joswood's products ) Laser Cut.

That's a really cool and large anlage (is Anlage Right?)!! Very interesting. You do an extremely good Job! Your customer'll be happy! And yes, Hamburg is a beautiful City! Have you Seen the new Italy in the Miniatur Wunderland? And sorry for my bad english, I'm only 14.
