Grazie per i complimenti e scusa se ti rispondo in ritardo.
I muri che vedi nel plastico sono fatti in gesso giallo (quello utilizzato dai dentisti, lo compro presso rivenditori di materiale odontotecnico) ed ha la caratteristica di essere molto resistente, di asciugare ed essere lavorabile in 20 minuti.
Come stampi utilizzo quelli in silicone (vedi foto) acquistati in Germania presso http://www.langmesser-modellwelt.de
Per incisioni e rifiniture varie, utilizzo gli attrezzi che vedi nella foto.
A disposizione per ulteriori domande.

Hallo,
after several months i post some pictures of the work in progress on my layout.

- First series of photo:assembly and weathering of the buildings (resin kit) to place as background.
- Second series: widening of the old city wall
- Third series: details of “biergarten” with a wiew on the railway belove. I still have to fill in many small accessories.

Hello everyone,
thank you all for your interest and comments.

Very slowly I managed to complete another small part of the layout. The photos shows a pair of warehouses close to the railway line. The set is enriched by many small particulars with attached accessories to make the scene more enjoyable. Some poles for outdoor lighting are still to be added.

A greeting to all friends,

First of all, I would like to thank those who left comments in the previous post.
In this update, I insert three different series of images.

The first photos show a portion of layout in which is located a building with an attached car workshop, and the back, where there are some garages.

The second section illustrates the enlargement of a part of the town's historical nucleus (which I use as a background to hide the helicoidal ramps of the tracks) and the positioning of a refreshing kiosk on the walls above the railway lines below . Note that the houses in the background are still to be finished and weathering.

The third series is related to the various stages of assembly and colouring of a complex of three buildings, entirely car built, to be inserted in an area of the old city. The model consists of various extruded polystyrene pieces of various thicknesses (base, walls and internal frame) and plaster moulds for the roof. Windows, gutters and drainage pipes are of commercial origin (waves of other mounting boxes). For wall staining and subsequent coating I used only acrylic paints and powders. Only for the roof, in addition to an acrylic base, I used a layer of aging oil diluted on brown/black tones (you can see in some pictures the almost glossy effect of the tiles because the color is not dried yet), and a subsequent pass of Extra Matt transparent to opacify definitively the whole. There are still some small detailss missing, but the whole seems quite successful, and once placed on the layout with the suitable accessories, it will come out quite well.

I apologize if I have written a little bit too much, now I give the green light to the photos that are worth more than a thousand words.............
