Reworked track, airbrushed a bit more color onit..have to do all modules now, booked for a show the weekend of the 17th..John a friend of mine is working on the enginehouse, he's doin a dormer at the moment..

Reworked more trackwork, with a show coming up next weekend it looks a bit funny when only 2 of the modules sprayed..used Vallejo dark german brown and rust for the rustparts and 3 colors for dirt. Clean the track with Vallejo airbrush cleaner, also use this to blend all the colors..

Almost forgot, did this part to, nice opportunity to shoot some bonus pics..

bin in Utrecht mit OntraX aber leider nicht mit meine anlage. Der hat sein expo in 2014 dort gehabt und ich und OntraX mochten nicht 2 mahl ausstellen..

Pff have luck, just dust on the sensor and no dead pixels I think..tuesday evening modeling night, since almost a year I try to model every tuesday together with John a friend of mine. Decided to change the roof cover of the enginehouse from rolled roof to shingles. John already made a dormer and now he's handlaying shakes...quit a project..in the mean time I try to finish the last part that needs green before the wharf..

And it grows and grows, almost done wih greens around the lobster restaurant...

Needed space in my workshop so I installed 2 of the Mara Harbor modules where I originaly designed them..as part of the Cardigan Bay Coastal Railroad..also made a start to rip out al the greens on Nolans Wharf to get them up to my new standard..

Well made the connection, this messy module and did some test runs with trains. Shall see if I can shoot a video this week. Nolans Wharf has a new ground cover and the first coat of paint went in. I use latex wallpaint to color my groundcover, just dab it on..

Well most of you might think painting groundcover thats odd..I do it mostly to blend all colors together and get an overall equal color on the layout, no matter what your initial groundcover color is. Can be rocks, grinded kitty litter or whatever..
Basecoat with RAL7013, dabbed on, followed with RAL7006 a bit Frary way of wet drybrush, a coat with a brownish RAL 8025 followed with 1019 to blend it all together..

After rhe paintjob was done I started on the new layers of greens. Weapon of choice a RTS greenkeeper 35kV, the same machines I´ll do my workshops with. Although I do own this big expencive Maag 70kV machine I like a bit less power working on my attic. Added a layer of WS fine turf burned grass and a layer of 2mm fibers from a Tsjech company called Modelscene.
Although they look very bright I like the look of fresh short undergrowth..

Dein gewähltes Eisenbahn- Thema ist ja nicht gerade dasjenige, das ich selbst nachbilden würde.
Meist verbindet man ja mit dem gewählten Thema eigene Kindheitserinnerungen.
Trotzdem schaue ich sehr, sehr gerne bei dir herein, denn warum sollte man nur wegen dem gewählten Thema einen Thread meiden?
Noch dazu ist deine Begrünung ist absolut Top! Da kann man sich vieles abschauen
Nicht nur deine Gräser sind sehr Sehenswert, sondern auch die Sträucher, die Bäume und das ganze drum herum.
Also, ich bleibe weiterhin hier am Ball- auch wenn ich deine Bilder sehr oft nur still genieße, oder besser gesagt Inhaliere

Leider hat Rodgau die anlage nach 2017 durchgeschoben wegen platzmangel, MH wurde eingezeichnet auf ein grundflach von nur 7 meter und ich brauche mindest 10...aber das gibt weiter zeit fur detaillierung...

In the mean time I added 3 layers more, from 2mm beige to 6.5mm late summer blend (one of my own mixes)
