Ich habe 5 weichen digital und nun gehen nur noch 3 . die anderen 2 gehen nur noch in einer richtung . am anfang waren alle sehr gut gelaufen ??? ich steuere diese mit meiner central staition is da vielleicht der motor kaputt habe diese weichen erst seit 3 monaten in betrieb ich hoffe dass ist nur ein einzel fall sonst ist das nicht sehr zuverlaessig aber wichtig habe diese weichen dort eingebaut wo ich nicht leicht dazu komme so fuer mich wäre das wichtig dass man sich darauf verlassen kann habt ihr auch solche probleme oder wie habt ihr das gelöst danke fuer eure antworten .

Mein deutsch ist schlecht zum schreiben . Das gleis ist ho c Gleis und die weichen sind also Marklin C Gleis . I am Swiss Canadien and i am able to have a conversation in German but my writing in German is bad I know so forgive me .

Thank you for answering so quick . No everything looks ok . At first all 5 turnout worked good . Then two of them turn only one side so i manually turn them into the right position. Then they work again for a while and now there dead and only turn in one position . i think its the turnout Motor.

Also check the energy supply and try to "feed" the turnouts with a transformer of their own.

I think this is the typical error. The drives are probably faulty.

So clean the drives from dust and dirt and lubricate the moving parts carefully.

Good evening,
just to clarify, are the cases of the drives glossy or non-glossy?
The early version of the drives have a glossy case and these tend to fail after some switching cycles.
If the drives are completly new, send them to Märklin in Göppingen, they will probably replace them for free.
In this forum are many threads about this phenomenon, just use the search-function.

ich antworte mal auf Deutsch, weil mein Englisch is not so very.

Leider ist das kein Einzelfall, da muss ich Dich enttäuschen, wahrscheinlich werden ganz im Gegenteil auch Deine anderen Weichenantriebe noch kaputtgehen.

Das Inernet ist voll von Berichten über kaputte Märklin-C-Weichenantriebe, auch hier im Forum.

Auch mir sind die Biester bereits in großer Zahl verreckt.

Einschicken zu Märklin löst auch nicht das Problem, selbst wenn Du noch Garantie hast, denn die schiclen Dir vielleicht Neue, aber die gehen auch kaputt.

Auch die jüngste Änderung von Märklin hat keine signiffikante Verbesserung gebracht, mir gehen die neuen genauso kaputt wie die alten.

Es sind immer die Endschalter, die versagen. Wenn Du Deine Weichen immer nur über die Digitalzentrale schaltest und also zuverlässig verhindert hast, dass jemand Dauerstrom auf die Antriebe gibt, dann brauchst Du die Endschalter nicht.

Löte sie raus und stattdessen eine Drahtbrücke rein.

Ich habe inzwischen alle meine Weichenantriebe derart umgerüstet, und neu gekaufte baue ich noch vor dem Einbau um.

Es tut mir leid, das, was ich schreibe, ist sicher nciht sehr tröstlich für Dich, insbesondere, wenn die Weichen tief in der Anlage versteckt eingebaut sind und womöclich auch noch fest eingeschottert.

Ist aber leider so.

hello. I will try to modify them as suggested . The Weichenantrieb come from the marklin set 74445 the digital decoder is#74460 and the weichenantrieb is#74490.

That is the main reason for me to operate my turnouts analogically.

In my case it was even worse: The end-switches did not operate correctly and supplied power to the decoder.
Consequently I had burnt tournout motors AND Decoders.
